These terms govern use of the Atom Translate website, iOS app, accounts, translation features, and paid services.
By accessing the Atom Translate website, downloading the app, creating an account, or using a feature, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to the website, app, accounts, translation tools, and paid entitlements.
Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Atom Translate for lawful personal or internal business travel purposes.
For an app obtained through Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies unless a valid custom EULA is shown in App Store Connect. These terms supplement that EULA and do not reduce rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
Basic text and Standard photo translation may be used without an account. Live voice, PRO photo translation, purchases, and entitlement restoration require an account. You must provide accurate registration information, protect your credentials and device, and promptly notify support of suspected unauthorized access.
Email/password and Sign in with Apple are the supported production sign-in methods. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Atom Translate uses automated speech recognition, OCR, machine translation, and synthesized speech. Results may be incomplete, delayed, offensive, or wrong. Always verify important names, numbers, routes, warnings, and instructions.
Do not use Atom Translate as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, immigration, safety-critical, or emergency decisions. Contact a qualified professional or local emergency service when appropriate.
You retain ownership of text, audio, and images you submit. You grant us and the service providers identified in the Privacy Policy a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and troubleshoot the feature you request and to meet legal obligations.
You must have the right to submit the content. Do not submit unlawful, infringing, abusive, malicious, or unnecessarily sensitive material. Camera, selected-photo, and microphone access are used only for the corresponding features you invoke.
Current allowances are shown in the app: Free includes 5 live minutes and 2 PRO photos per month; the non-renewing 14-day pass includes 60 live minutes and 30 PRO photos; Monthly includes 120 live minutes and 100 PRO photos; Annual includes 900 live minutes and 800 PRO photos. Text and Standard photo translation do not consume these allowances.
Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple within the period Apple specifies. The 14-day pass does not auto-renew. Prices, taxes, trial terms, billing periods, and controlling offer details are those displayed by the App Store at purchase. Apple processes payment, cancellation, and refund requests. Restore Purchases is available for eligible purchases.
Deleting your Atom Translate account does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage cancellation in your Apple account settings before deleting the account if you do not want renewal.
You may not misuse the service, bypass quotas or security, probe or disrupt systems, automate abusive traffic, reverse engineer except where law permits, violate another person's rights, or use the service to create or distribute illegal or harmful material. We may investigate abuse and limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary.
Online features rely on internet access and providers including Apple, Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, Microsoft online speech, hosting, and network services. Their availability and lawful terms may affect Atom Translate. Carrier or data charges are your responsibility. See the Privacy Policy for data-flow details.
Atom Translate, its software, design, branding, and service content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. These terms do not transfer ownership. Third-party names and services remain the property of their respective owners.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may be delayed or unavailable because of connectivity, device support, maintenance, security, quota, law, or provider changes. We may modify or discontinue features and will provide notice when required by law.
You may stop using the service at any time and may delete a registered account from Settings, Account, Delete Account and Data. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or when required by law, with notice where reasonably possible.
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not responsible for decisions made solely from an unverified translation or for failures caused by networks, devices, user content, or third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights. Any limitation applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without limiting mandatory protections available in your place of residence. Disputes should first be raised with us and, if unresolved, may be submitted to a court with lawful jurisdiction.
We may update these terms as the service or law changes. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted; material changes will receive notice when required. Contact the email listed above for legal or service questions.
